How does it work?
A motorised rotating mechanism sweeps a red laser dot across floors and walls. Cats respond to anything moving fast around them, and the beam's motion resembles fleeing prey, so the cat chases and pounces on instinct. Because a fixed path lets a cat learn and lose interest (habituation), the unit varies the pattern across five settings. The 15-minute session ends automatically, keeping the play short enough that the cat stays keen and does not tip into overstimulation.
